معدل نمو لحظي

التعريف

مقياس للزيادة اليومية في الوزن. وتحسب على عينة من الأسماك خلال فترة زمنية قصيرة، ويتم حسابه من المعادلة الآتية: (g = [ln (W_t) – ln W₀)]/(t₁ – t₀) حيث أن: W_t هي وزن الأسماك بعد عدد t₁ من الأيام، W₀ هي الوزن الأولي للأسماك [و ln هو اللوغاريتم الطبيعي].

instantaneous growth rate

Definition

A measure of the daily weight increase determined from a sample of fish over a short period of time and calculated by the following equation: g = (ln W_t - ln W₀)/(t₁ - t₀) where W_t is the weight of the fish after t₁ days, W₀ is the initial weight and ln is the natural logarithm.

instantaneous rate of growth

Definition

The natural logarithm of the ratio of final weight to initial weight of a fish in a unit of time, usually a year. When applied collectively to all fish of a given age in a stock, the possibility of selective mortality must be considered.
